If children require medication at school, a parent/caregiver is required to complete a Departmental Deed of Indemnity form with the relevant medication and dosage information. This must be filled out and signed at the Administration Office and medication given to the office BEFORE school.
Medication
is ONLY by given by the School Assistant (Office),
not by the class teacher. No medication should be kept in a child's bag
for self-administration.
Asthmatic students need to carry, and be able to use, their puffers when required. Your assistance in ensuring that your child can use their puffer correctly is requested. Puffers should be labelled with their owner's name and class and be kept in their owner's pocket, not in their school bag.
